Togainu No Chi

According to the detectives over at Aarinfantasy, Togainu No Chi's anime director, Konno Naoyuki, said the following:

"ＢＬだからって敬遠している人にこそ見てほしい そんな作品にしたいです"

Apparently, it means that the Konno Naoyuki wants the Togainu anime to appeal to the mainstream audience. He wants to produce the Togainu anime into anime that appeals to, not just BL fans, but people who tend to avoid BL in general.

Not sure how that will turn out but apparently, he mentioned "even though it is a BL anime"...which means that he will keep the BL aspects on the show. That's good! Erasing the BL from the franchise would be a VERY bad idea.

According to some rumors and some Japanese websites such as Moonphase, Togainu No Chi the anime will debut this October, which means there are around 5 more months of waiting! Many people thought it would debut this July but it looks like more waiting! But that doesn't matter because this just means they are working very hard on the anime.

It has been confirmed on Togainu No Chi's official website that the upcoming anime project will be animated by A-1 Pictures (Kuroshitsuji, Ookiku Furikabutte, Kannagi) and directed by Naoyuki Konno.
