They promised more promos coming soon leading up to the October debut.

In two more months, the "Togaino No Chi" Anime Series will air on Japanese television all across the nation!

The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of "Togainu No Chi" has been updated with a new headline picture! The anime is scheduled to be broadcasted on television all across Japan in early October of this year! So 2 more months! It is rumored that the anime will be broadcasted on MBS!

They also revealed that the opening song will be titled "granrodeo"!

This isn't something huge regarding the anime but the official website for the Togainu No Chi anime series has updated the main page's picture! Now all the main and supporting characters are shown!(Look above). They changed up some little things too and moved around the trailer as well.

Looks like there will be more updates on the anime as October is nearing. If you haven't noticed, the anime will debut on Japanese television this October!

Togainu No Chi's official anime website has confirmed that the A-1 Pictures and Aniplex will release Togainu No Chi this Fall!

This is great news! This means the anime will air on tv around September to October. Just a few more months to go!

According to the detectives over at Aarinfantasy, Togainu No Chi's anime director, Konno Naoyuki, said the following:

"ＢＬだからって敬遠している人にこそ見てほしい そんな作品にしたいです"

Apparently, it means that the Konno Naoyuki wants the Togainu anime to appeal to the mainstream audience. He wants to produce the Togainu anime into anime that appeals to, not just BL fans, but people who tend to avoid BL in general.

Not sure how that will turn out but apparently, he mentioned "even though it is a BL anime"...which means that he will keep the BL aspects on the show. That's good! Erasing the BL from the franchise would be a VERY bad idea.

According to some rumors and some Japanese websites such as Moonphase, Togainu No Chi the anime will debut this October, which means there are around 5 more months of waiting! Many people thought it would debut this July but it looks like more waiting! But that doesn't matter because this just means they are working very hard on the anime.

It has been confirmed on Togainu No Chi's official website that the upcoming anime project will be animated by A-1 Pictures (Kuroshitsuji, Ookiku Furikabutte, Kannagi) and directed by Naoyuki Konno.

For those who don't know, there is a Togainu No Chi manga series in the works! Not only that but it has already been licensed by TokyoPop a few years ago and they have released up to volume 5! So if you didn't know, now you know and I definitely recommend reading the manga because it has a pretty interesting perspective to the story. The art is pretty good too. So check it out!

I know a friend in Japan who is also obsessed with the franchise who's been keeping me up to date with the anime. She said that the chance of Togainu no Chi debuting in the Fall of this year is VERY huge. It will most likely not air during the summer. I am also told that the chance of this series being 24 episode is "likely" because it is adapted from a game so there is no EXACT storyline to follow.

Nitroplus, Aniplex to show pilot of street-fighting story with boys-love elements

The multimedia studio Nitroplus has officially announced a television
anime adaptation of its Togainu no Chi game on Monday. Nitroplus made the announcement in Tokyo during the "Nitro+CHiRAL Party" event, which celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Nitro+CHiRAL boys-love game brand. The release date, staff, and other details of the anime have yet to be announced, but the booths of Nitroplus and the anime production company Aniplex will present a pilot version during this week's Tokyo International Anime Fair. The anime's website has also formally opened on Monday, after it already revealed the first indications of the television anime plans earlier this week.

Togainu no Chi originated as an adult game that Nitro+CHiRAL released in 2005. Manga artist Suguro Chayamachi adapted the game's story about a post-apocalyptic street fighter in Enterbrain's comic B's-LOG magazine, and the seventh manga volume shipped last August.

Tokyopop published the fourth volume of the manga in North America in November.
